What’s New?

Lately I have been consumed by traditional Chumash basketry. I have taken classes with some great students and teachers. Using these lessons and techniques I have decided to make basketry a major part of my life. Normally my day is taken up by my love for ceramics, but lately basketry for sure is on my mind. I am not quite ready to show my up to date progress, but I will definitely leave a sample, close up, snippet of my current basket. I am working hard and have figured some things out, but I know there is a lot to learn and the only way is to get in there and work on my baskets one stitch at a time. Till next time.
